Professional Context
The Inventory Planner will contribute to coordinating long term supply chain strategies across networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. In this role, you will monitor key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and help coordinate the company’s cross functional work teams to meet high customer service standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Inventory analysis, initiation & follow-up of corrective actions
- Create requirements plan and long term supply plan for assigned products and locations as input for the integrated business planning cycle
- Reporting of inventory KPI’s
- Develop gap coverage plans during inventory shortages
- Generate and execute cycle stock and safety stock plans for the assigned product or location, using the approved supply plan inputs
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
- Align liquid and solid volume between the short-term and mid-term horizon
- Inventory optimization through policy application across the network
- Support the Portfolio segmentation MTS/MTO/ATO and execute implementation plan
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience in supply & demand planning
- Advanced Excel & analytical skills
- Fluent in English and Dutch
